About

The EU DPP Foundation

The EU Digital Product Passport Foundation is a neutral, non-profit hub helping EU companies understand and comply with the Digital Product Passport standard.

Mission

We exist to make compliance with the EU Digital Product Passport tractable for companies of every size. We do not sell software, consulting or certification. Our outputs are open, dated, and backed by primary sources.

Principles

  • Neutral. We do not endorse vendors. Any future directory will follow a published inclusion policy.
  • Evidence-based. Every regulatory claim links to its primary source on EUR-Lex or the Commission.
  • Dated. Every page shows when it was last updated. Regulations change by delegated act; stale content is worse than no content.
  • Open. Content is published under a permissive licence; our tools are open source.

Governance

The Foundation is governed by a board elected from its members. Statutes, annual report and financials will be published on this page as the organisation formalises.

Not an EU institution

The Foundation is an independent non-profit. It is not part of the European Commission, the Council or any other EU institution, and does not speak on their behalf. For authoritative legal interpretations, always consult the primary sources.
