Consumer electronics and ICT are priority groups under the ESPR Working Plan. The delegated act is expected to build on existing Ecodesign and Energy Labelling measures for smartphones, tablets, servers and consumer electronics.

- Existing Ecodesign measures for smartphones, tablets, servers and data storage already require some of these fields; the DPP consolidates them.
- Professional / enterprise equipment may carry a narrower set of fields focused on repair and end-of-life.
