Mattresses
Mattresses were added as a priority product group in the ESPR 2025–2030 Working Plan adopted on 15 April 2025. A preparatory study is under way. The delegated act may be a dedicated mattresses act or a sub-act of the furniture delegated act.

- Medical mattresses are likely out of scope under this delegated act; covered by the Medical Devices Regulation.
- Bespoke hand-made mattresses may benefit from a simplified regime.
