Chemicals digital product passport
Chemicals as final products were not included in the first ESPR Working Plan (2025 to 2030) adopted on 15 April 2025. A preparatory study was scheduled to complete at the end of 2025 to evaluate inclusion in a later plan. For now, REACH, CLP and the SCIP database remain the primary regimes for substance-of-concern information. A sector-specific DPP exists for detergents and surfactants under Regulation (EU) 2026/405, see the dedicated page.
